Features & Benefits

Screw design

With each revolution of the screw, feedstuffs are pulled out of the opposite tub chamber, positively creating an exchange of feed between the screws because of the overlapping screw design with offset baffles placed on the side of the tub wall.

Efficient cleanout

With efficient cleanout, thanks to three points of contact with the tub floor created by two bi-pulse legs and the leading edge of the screw, operators can end their load with minimized feed waste and maximum material in their bunk.

Versatile axle options

Looking for a large-capacity mixer but have terrain constraints? The VT970 twin-screw vertical mixer gives operators the option to configure a single axle with dual tires or a tandem-spring axle with four large super-single tires.

Optional stainless steel liner

Add the optional stainless steel liner to the tub of your VT970 mixer to help prevent rust.

4-point scale with Bluetooth connectivity

Operators focused on precise rations will appreciate the 4-point scales on all vertical mixers from Vermeer. Plus, operators can view weights directly on their smart device with Bluetooth connectivity.
