The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who have answered their nation’s call to serve.
Tracy Cole, maintenance technician at Vermeer and sergeant in the National Guard, nominated Seth. “He has never had any problem with me taking time off to fulfill my duty as a soldier. Seth asks me what my duties are in the Guard and what the objectives are in the trainings taking place. It shows me that he supports the National Guard, understands the time I have to take away from work and home, and cares about how I am doing,” shared Tracy.
“I enjoy talking to the military members like Tracy. I always thought that was something I’d like to do,” said Seth. “We navigate the scheduling needs and make it work. It’s all part of recognizing and supporting the critical work he is doing.”
