To help protect our onsite team members, no interviews are taking place on Vermeer campuses and should instead take place using technology. If an in-person interview or skills evaluation is required, it will be with a limited number of people in a location where those present can follow social distancing practices and spread out.

Q. How is COVID-19 impacting Vermeer business?

Because our equipment is considered critical as designated by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Vermeer and its companies will remain open and producing equipment. Our customers are deemed essential to provide services for our communities and for basic functions supporting national security. They use our equipment and parts to help maintain and install water, gas, electrical and telecommunications lines that are critical. On the agriculture side, our customers depend on our teams for the equipment and parts they need to feed their livestock essential to the nation’s food supply. We remain open to provide the equipment and parts our customers need to do their work efficiently and effectively.

Q. How is Vermeer caring for its team members and ensuring their safety?

People are Vermeer’s greatest asset and the health of our team members matters most. Following the guidance of CDC, WHO, local, state and federal government, we believe we can work in a way that protects our team members, such as modifying working structures, practicing social distancing, continuing our cleaning regimen and restricting visitors. We believe what we do matters, but how we do it is just as important. We continue to make reasonable and achievable adjustments so we can keep our team working productively.
