The products you need

As the largest seedstock producer in the United States, Jorgensen Land & Cattle sells or leases more bulls than any other operation in the country.

And they rely on Vermeer hay equipment to help them do it.

Jorgensens use the Vermeer ZR5-1200 self-propelled baler, 605N baler and R2800 twin rake and TM1410 trailed mower to streamline their hay-making process. These machines help Jorgensens to produce feed efficiently, which supports their Angus bull program. Rex Tilton needed to address the feed waste on his southwest Missouri farm.

“Our wastage was just out of sight. We work hard every day to bale hay. We certainly don’t want to throw those resources away,” Tilton said.

He turned to his local Vermeer forage dealer for help.

Eubanks Equipment worked with Tilton to learn about what the best option for his operation would be and landed on the VS510 single-screw vertical mixer.

With Sherman’s help, Tilton chose the Vermeer VS510 single-screw vertical mixer. The vertical mixer allowed Tilton to mix hay and other feedstuffs efficiently.
