From urban streets where quiet operation matters to aggregate sites requiring multi-site mobility, contractors face challenges that demand equipment built for real-world conditions. At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, Vermeer is bringing solutions designed to help crews do more. The Vermeer booth is located in the South Hall, 1st Level, booth S61422, March 3-7 in Las Vegas.
Equipment highlights
Attendees can experience the latest equipment innovations across Vermeer product lines, including:
- SM55 surface miner: The Vermeer SM55 brings production-level cutting performance to a class of machine that has never been this transportable. At 120,000 lb (54,431 kg), the SM55 moves as a single load on standard trailers with no disassembly required, allowing contractors to work one quarry today and another tomorrow without the logistical headaches that come with traditional surface mining equipment.
- VXT400 and VXT500 vacuum trucks: The Vermeer VXT400 and VXT500 are completely new vacuum truck designs based on years of customer feedback and lessons learned from previous hydrovac equipment. These purpose-built machines feature dual digging capability, 70-dB(A) quiet operation and a patent-pending camera system with boom reach overlay.
- ML-series mini loaders: Next-generation lineup built on contractor feedback with enhanced hydraulic performance and all-day operator comfort.
- D24 horizontal directional drill and microtrenching solutions: Automated rod exchange (ARE) technology and integrated equipment for urban fiber installation.
- LS3600TX low speed shredder: Single-shaft design for processing contaminated waste streams with built-in driveline protection.
A glimpse of technology that is out of this world
CONEXPO-CON/AGG attendees will also get an exclusive look at a prototype machine developed through a partnership that takes Vermeer engineering beyond Earth. While details remain under wraps, this collaboration demonstrates how equipment built for the toughest conditions on our planet can serve as the foundation for applications that reach even further.
