A better way starts here

A better way to
feed and fuel our communities

This is where it all began. A farmer in the middle of the Iowa prairie looking for a better way. In 1948, Gary Vermeer built a small machine shop in Pella, Iowa, to address the needs of local farmers like himself. Today, nearly 80 years later, we’re still just as passionate about finding a better way to make hay, feed cattle and give back to the land.

A better way to
connect our world to the necessities of life

Building a better world starts below our feet. In fact, some of our best work is never even seen. However, the impact it creates is life-changing. We aren’t just about building equipment — we’re about ensuring communities have access to essential services and communication networks that allow for life to be so much more fulfilling.

How we connect our world

A better way to
manage our natural resources

Taking care of others, as well as taking care of our natural world, is something we take great pride in. That’s why our approach to natural resource management combines in-house sustainability initiatives with the design and manufacture of our equipment that in return empowers our customers to manage resources responsibly and efficiently across a wide variety of industries.
