PD10 Pile Driver

Over the past several years, renewable energy sources – like solar – have become increasingly important contributors to the world’s store of available energy. To answer the need for quick-working, accurate equipment, Vermeer has developed the robust, productive PD10 pile driver. The PD10 has been specifically designed to meet the tight tolerances demanded by commercial solar contractors and the expansive solar fields they install.

Features and benefits

  • With autoplumb, the mast automatically moves to a plumb orientation with a touch of button, reducing both cycle time and out-of-plumb piles.
  •  With the capability to accept a number of GPS systems, the PD10 can help reduce surveying time and install piles at the correct location, depth and angle.
  • With precise ground drive control, operators can spend less time installing each pile, and move from one pile to the next efficiently.
  • Dual joystick controls help to implement the above mentioned features in the fastest and most accurate way.
  • See your Vermeer dealer for comprehensive service and genuine Vermeer replacement parts.

— In 2012, Vermeer will introduce a new pile driver machine designed primarily to assist with the often-challenging installation of solar panel configurations. The new PD10 pile driver will help make installing the posts that secure the solar panels more efficient, productive and, most importantly, exact.
