Features & Benefits
Feature: 120 hp (89 kW) Cummins QSB-4.5TAA Tier 3 engine with 5 hp (4 kW) bulge
Benefit: The horsepower bulge increases performance and productivity by allowing the XTS1250 to run at maximum horsepower in work mode.
Feature: Steel quad track system
Benefit: A track system has several benefits over a traditional rubber tire unit: improved flotation characteristics, increased tractive effort, and greater stability. However, the steel quad track system features many of the same advantages of rubber tires including four-wheel steer and crab steering. In addition, as opposed to a traditional dual track machine, the track system has relatively no break-over point, allowing for full power to all four tracks and maximizes tractive effort and stability by maintaining four-point contact with the ground.
Feature: Planetary axles with differential locks
Benefit: This feature helps distribute torque equally to each quad so turf damage and axle stress is reduced.
Feature: Rear steer with auto-center option
Benefit: The rear steer with auto-center makes the XTS1250 easier to operate, increases productivity, and reduces the time spent centering the rear tracks. The rear steer also enables the operator to work in confined spaces.
Feature: Swiveling operator¿s station
Benefit: The benefit of a swiveling operator¿s station includes ease of operation, increased productivity, and increased visibility to the rear attachment. As the operator station rotates, all attachment control levers rotate with the operator, enhancing operator comfort.
Feature: Steel single grouser tracks
Benefit: The steel quad track system offers increased traction in muddy or loose soil, helping to enhance plowing productivity, even in difficult ground conditions.
