The International Marketing Specialist manages the development and implementation of sales promotions, advertising campaigns, merchandising plans, product launches, public relations, translations and dealership advertising and communications plans for the assigned areas internationally. This role researches, proposes, negotiates and implements new or revised systems of advertising or communctiaons to regional entities, international subsidiaries, dealers and end-users for the assigned area.
Your Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the development of product launches, service launches, and advertising programs internationally, to meet regional needs while supporting corporate branding strategy.

Assist Marketing and International teams with market plans and strategies.
-
Manage creative projects, outsourcing and production of marketing materials including but not limited to translations, regional marketing campaigns, managing advertising agencies etc. to serve the needs of the international dealers and regional offices.

Organize, direct and coordinate photo and video shoots on and off location, in the international locations.

Organizes trade show efforts and sponsorships in tandem with the international regional offices and corporate marketing department.

Oversee, develop and implement sales and finance programs to the public and retail distributors i.e. sales challenges & promotions to the sales force, special financing programs for

Assist in organizing the training, and communication to employees of assigned area and dealers.

Prepare annual product & service launch marketing budget, and review on a monthly basis.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising Business and/or Communications with 3+ years of experience in marketing, website development, product introductions, international sales and/or public relations; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Ability to speak multiple languages is required. -
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write advertising copy and articles using original or innovative techniques or styles.

Experience working with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel and Access. Ability to operate a computer and general office equipment, such as a fax machine, copier, LCD projector and digital camera.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to successfully manage a budget and trade show.

Hands on knowledge of Marketing, advertising, creative software programs, and graphic design principle.

Demonstrated project management experience and great attention to detail, is required.

Ability to increase the use of the Vermeer public and dealer web site.

Ability to create and update a 24-month marketing plan.

Ability to identify the appropriate areas to advertise to increase product and/or Company visibility.

Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers and maintain positive interpersonal relationships which encourage openness.

Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.

Demonstration of good oral and written communication skills in a language besides English.

Ability to implement dealer advertising program to fit the various levels of marketing support needed among international distribution group.

Knowledge of Vermeer and competition’s equipment, preferred.
