As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will invent, design, document, and test innovative engineering solutions using CAD tools. Your role will also support the production, service, and sales functions by assisting with troubleshooting issues and reviewing and updating documentation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design, analysis, and records related to product enhancement. 
• Produce sketches or detailed drawings to build prototype parts. 
• Organize and document the product structure of new machines. 
• Perform engineering calculations, including proper documentation, as required.
• Provide instructions and guidance to engineering technicians in welding, assembly, and testing of prototype designs. 
• Conduct enhancement tests to ensure design reliability. 
• Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability, and applications. Contact with dealers to troubleshoot, and correct field problems. 
• Assist Project Engineer with design changes on existing production machines and provides the documentation required to implement these changes.  Also, assist Project Engineer in managing and maintaining project schedules and maintains necessary records.
• Support to the Sales and Service Departments as needed.  Assist technical publications, marketing, and sales with information required for product release.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering from a four-year college and/or equivalent training and/or experience. 
• Experience with Solid Works, SmarTeam, AutoCAD, ECN tools and best practices. 
• Team player with solid people skills who likes to be creative and get the job done!
• Lean manufacturing knowledge a plus and preferred.
