As the Distribution KPO (Kaizen Promotional Office) Manager, you will be responsible for training of Kaizen principles to management and employees of Dealerships.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the Kaizen event planning and campaigning to recruit team members and project work that supports continuous improvement with Vermeer Dealerships.
- Manage assigned personnel in performance of their duties including, but not limited to, hiring, evaluation, scheduling work activities, discipline and discharge.
- Establish and monitor individual and team goals which are aligned with the Organization’s business strategies and objectives.
- Plan, map and follow-up on Kaizen events and activities that support segment and Company goals, including segment value stream mapping.
- Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement methods and support department managers by promoting the lean progression with dealerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Bussiness Management or Engineering with 5-10 years manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean principles and global production systems, preferred; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Must have Solid knowledge of Kaizen philosophies with hands-on experience working direclty with distributors\dealers.
- Ability to manage staff in the performance of duties such that performance meets or exceeds expectations and follow up after Kaizen training completion and audit results while being able to assess the results.
- Proficient in MicroSoft Office Suite with outstanding presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid organization akills with an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be able to travel up to 50%.
