Your Opportunity:

 

This role strives to develop hydraulic system design standards, review the hydraulic system prototype in NPPDS and perform audits in hydraulic Kaizen events.  Finally, this position is to train and consult for hydraulic system design.

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Creating hydraulic control standards to improve design, system troubleshooting, and assembly procedures
• Conducting hydraulic system reviews of machines as part of the NPPDS process and quality Kaizen audits
• Forming and leading effort of company wide hydraulic committee; developing recommended hydraulic supplier, component list to meet Company objectives for quality, reliability, and commonality; identifying hydraulic quality and reliability issues to implement solutions; developing and conducting hydraulic system training for design, system troubleshooting, and assembly procedures
• Performing hydraulic component selection, failure analysis, and supplier quality control audits. 

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in either Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering with 7-10 years of experience in mobile equipment hydraulic design. 
• Effectively organize and practice project management skills. 
• Ability to complete at least one of the following certifications within 2 years of accepting this position including: Certified fluid power specialist (CFPS), and/or Certified fluid power hydraulic specialist (CFPHS), and/or Certified hydraulic fluid power engineer (CFPE).
