Founder Gary Vermeer is succeeded by his son, Bob Vermeer, and his daughter, Mary Vermeer-Andringa, who serve as co-CEOs. Inaugurating the third generation of family involvement is Mary's son, Jason Andringa.

The company's manufacturing and parts facilities in Pella, Iowa, expand over more than 1.5 million square feet (130,060 square meters). Employees specialize in designing and producing machines and products used to build and maintain the world's infrastructure.
