About Pella, Iowa

Countless changes have occurred at Vermeer over the years, but one constant remains - the company is still family-owned and managed. Founder Gary Vermeer is succeeded by his son, Bob Vermeer, and his daughter, Mary Vermeer-Andringa, who serve as co-CEOs. Inaugurating the third generation of family involvement is Mary's son, Jason Andringa.

The company's manufacturing and parts facilities in Pella, Iowa, expand over more than 1.5 million square feet (130,060 square meters). Employees specialize in designing and producing machines and products used to build and maintain the world's infrastructure.

The Pella community, including the Vermeer family and company, shares pride in its rich Dutch heritage. The Iowa town's charm, character and annual tulip festival attract thousands of tourists each year.
