Feature: Chips to Mulch
Benefit: Mulch is a value-added alternative to stockpiling wood chips, or paying disposal fees. Mulch can be marketed as landscape mulch, compost, animal bedding, or ground cover.

Feature: Clutchless PTO
Benefit: The clutchless PTO allows the mill to be engaged without sliding the engine or using a traditional slip clutch or idler pulley - helping prevent premature wear to drivetrain components.

Feature: Hammermill and Screen Access
Benefit: Operators can load screens by hand without the use of additional support equipment or personnel. The lid also provides access to the hammermill for daily service, inspection, and replacement of cutters and hardware as recommended by the operator's maintenance manual.

Feature: Feed Conveyor
Benefit: Allows maximum material capacity to enhance machine productivity while lessening the amount of non-productive clean up under the grinder. Feature: Side Discharge Conveyor
Benefit: A side discharge conveyor allows operators to leave the tow vehicle hooked up to the grinder - helping improve jobsite productivity and allowing operators to transport the grinder to the materials for processing. Another benefit gives operators the ability to load into dumpsters, pick-up trucks, or create windrows of processed materials.

Feature: Lightweight, Compact Design
Benefit: The unit can be towed using Class IV vehicle and its compact design allows for easy transport through residential areas. A lightweight design reduces ground disturbance in residential yards or golf courses.

HG200

A Grinder in a Chipper Sized Package.
The Vermeer HG200 compact horizontal grinder turns wood chips, construction debris and green waste into a range of usable end products that include ground cover, landscape mulch, animal bedding and compost. The unit provides residential tree care contractors, sawmills, home builders and contractors with an economical alternative to incurring disposal fees or stockpiling unusable chips.

Powered by a reliable 85 hp (63 kW) Cummins diesel engine, the compact HG200 has a gross weight of 5500 pounds (2495 kg), making it easy to transport in residential areas.
