Features & Benefits
Feature: Horsepower and Machine Width
Benefit: The dependable power plant is backed up by a worldwide dealer network for warranty, parts and service needs. With the horsepower, the SC652 retains a compact footprint for maneuverability and enhanced transportability.
Feature: Four-Wheel Drive with Differential Lock
Benefit: With power and torque transferred to each of the four wheels, the SC652 is able to traverse difficult and uneven ground conditions. With the differential locks disengaged, maneuverability is enhanced. In difficult ground conditions, the operator can engage the differential locks to maintain pulling power during uneven wheel traction conditions.
Feature: Variable Propel Speed
Benefit: Variable speed control gives the operator greater control during operation, transport and loading/unloading. High Range speed at the swingout control station is 150 fpm (45.7 m/min) for quick maneuverability around the jobsite. Low Range is 100 fpm (30.5 m/min) at the swingout controls and via the creep switch providing slower speeds for better control in confined areas.
Feature: Auxiliary Control Station
Benefit: In narrow jobsite conditions that restrict use of the main control station, the operator can control ground drive and steering functions from an auxiliary control station. This feature allows the operator to follow or lead the unit through narrow and confined areas.
Feature: Cutting Dimensions and 4-Bar Linkage
Benefit: The increased cutting width helps boost productivity by reducing the need to reposition the entire unit.
Feature: Three-Position Swingout Control Station
Benefit: In confined jobsite conditions which restrict full extension of the control station, the unit can be operated with the control station in the intermediate position.
Feature: Chip Blade
Benefit: The chip blade can easily move chips around the jobsite, reducing the need to manually relocate the chips. Blade dimensions and ground clearance are designed for easy access through narrow gates and travel on uneven terrain. While the rounded lower edge of the blade is designed to help reduce turf damage.
Feature: Ground Clearance
Benefit: High ground clearance provides greater maneuverability in uneven and difficult ground conditions.
Feature: Steering Axle
Benefit: This design allows the SC652 to traverse uneven and difficult ground conditions while maintaining four-wheel contact for stability and traction.
Feature: Electronic Controls
Benefit: The heat generated by hydraulic components is diverted away from the operator with the absence of hydraulic controls at the control station, helping to increase operator comfort. With electronic controls, damage to hydraulic hoses and valves caused by rotation of the operator station is eliminated. The electronic controls also allow for a smaller control panel, reducing the side weight of the control station.
Feature: Cutter Wheel Drive
Benefit: This design eliminates the need for clutch and belt drive maintenance. The inline drive system between the motor and gearbox are connected via a driveshaft, so no side loads are placed on the motor which helps reduce premature wear to seals and other motor components.
Feature: Daily Service Accessibility
Benefit: Designed with maintenance in mind, the SC652 provides easy access to daily service points without removing a panel. Other maintenance areas can easily be monitored through hinged doors and panels. All panels are lockable to reduce potential damage from vandalism.
Feature: Fuel Tank
Benefit: Provides longer operation between refueling.
Feature: Yellow Jacket Cutting System
Benefit: The Yellow Jacket Cutter System is designed to provide faster, easier serviceability, as well as extended pocket and tooth life.
Feature: Cutter Wheel Guard
Benefit: The guard aids in chip containment and acts as a barrier for safety.
